Welcome to the OUT Divers web site, home of Ottawa's only GLBT scuba club.

OUT Divers was founded to help promote recreational scuba diving for GLBT individuals in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

Composed of both men and women of all skill levels, we seek to provide a safe and accepting environment in which to enjoy  scuba diving.

The group is open to experienced divers, new divers, those who have never tried scuba but would like to try it as well as non-diving partners.

Note: We are not a teaching club but we can refer you to qualified dive instructors and even assist you by planning practice dives and coordinating other GLBT students into the same class.

We periodically arrange "Discover Scuba" sessions for those non-divers who are interested in trying it out for free. If you'd like to be notified of when these sessions occur, please let us know and we'll put your name on the list to be notified. There's no obligation and no cost for these sessions. 

Also, we use the club's Yahoo group to send out club announcements, plan events and coordinate dives. It's open to anyone and it will be our main means of communication. You should consider joining it to be kept in the loop.
